Kuala Lumpur #1

My very favourite thing about Kuala Lumpur was the pedestrian crossing lights. I must have looked like a moron watching them, especially when I missed the lights and had to wait another cycle.

I've never posted a video here before, but here goes. I hope it loads and doesn't crash your browser or use up all your Internet. If you've seen pedestrian lights in Asia before you will probably wonder what all the fuss is about, but I found it highly amusing.

I'm sure there's a lot more to like about KL than pedestrian crossings, and I'll put some more photos up shortly to show you some of my "other favourite" things. But the city spreads for miles in every direction, you can't see the horizon for smog, and massive highrises push out of the ground between crumbling apartment complexes. Not really my kind of place.
