Cat Poo

Going through my PBL notes today, I found this:

Alcohol: no alcohol is best
Pets: don’t eat the cat poo
Caffeine: 1 coffee max. Reduce soft drink intake

It must have been a funny joke at the time, but now I have no idea why I felt the need to add the line about cat poo. Do pregnant women have cat poo cravings?

And I thought the famous "pickles and icecream" cravings were disgusting.

I had a lady once, who was slightly confused due to a drug mix up by the doctors, and who had cravings for maltesers.

The gross side of this story is, poo comes in all forms of textures, shapes, sizes and malleability.

I do not have to describe this further.

toxoplasmosis is spread by cat poo as well as undercooked meat- it is one of the TORCH infections- perhaps that's why?

Wow, that sounds very clever ... is toxoplasmosis transmitted especially through excrement? I wonder if they warn HIV patients.

Also, I hope you can't get toxoplasmosis from Maltesers.
